Leela & Shetty, The New Top Sirens Of Tollywood?

The Tollywood film industry is currently witnessing a remarkable streak by two emerging actresses from Bangalore. What sets them apart is their consecutive release of three films each, a feat rarely achieved by other heroines at this moment. Here’s what Film Nagar talking about this Leela and Shetty now.

Apparently, Sreeleela and Neha Shetty, who seem to be taking the industry by storm will be seen in numerous projects in the coming months. Sreeleela’s upcoming projects, including “Skanda,” “Bhavanth Kesari,” “Aadikeshava,” “Extra Ordinary Man,” and “Guntur Kaaram,” are generating substantial buzz, indicating her rise as a prominent name among the Tier-1 star heroines. In a similar vein, Neha Shetty’s lineup of films, “Bedurulanka 2012,” “Rules Ranjan,” and “Gangs Of Godavari,” has also captured attention, positioning her as a frontrunner in the Tier-2 slot.

The consecutive releases of Sreeleela and Neha Shetty have sparked discussions about their roles within Tollywood’s hierarchy of actresses. Sreeleela’s consistent presence in high-profile projects has elevated her status to a potential No.1 contender without any doubts, while Neha Shetty’s string of films showcases her growing influence, marking her as a prominent figure within the Tier-2 category. In case they score a couple of blockbusters, surely there will be no looking back for the two in 2024 as well.

On the other hand, other star heroines like Anushka, Shruti Haasan, Samantha, Anupama Parameswaran, Mrunal Thakur and others have a film or two in their kitty right now, which are getting readied for a release. But one blockbuster is enough to make anyone a star heroine or No.1 heroine, so we have to see what happens.
