Kushi Meet In US: Buy Tickets, Samantha Gets Paid

Published by

Samantha Ruth Prabhu is having a field day in New York where she landed along with her family for myositis treatment. And then, it came out that she will be promoting her upcoming release ‘Kushi’ as well, such that the overseas market will witness a huge rise in the openings for the film. There comes the catch though.

People across the USA who are fans of Telugu cinema are excited about meeting Samantha in Dallas, Texas. A meet-and-greet event is scheduled for August 25th. However, attending the “Kushi” event isn’t free, even though it’s for promoting the movie. The regular ticket price for the event is $150 while the fans who want to sit near Samantha have to pay as high as $2500.

Some are wondering why they’re selling tickets for what seems like a promotional event. The truth is, that Samantha is being paid around ₹30 Lakhs to be present at the event, and selling tickets is the only option for the organizers to cover those costs. But then, reports are doing rounds that tickets are being sold like hotcakes as NRI folks are queuing up to catch up with Samantha in the USA.

After her pictures from New York’s India Day Parade and her Central Park jogging diaries are heating social media, surely the newly single actress is getting a lot of attention from eligible folks. Sam’s promotion for Kushi in the USA is working big as expected.

Kushi is releasing on September 1st in five languages and it was awarded U/A. The censor talk is super positive and the clean family entertainment and Vijay-Sam chemistry seem to be the working factors.
