Anticipation is soaring as the trailer for Prabhas’ highly anticipated film, “Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire,” is set to be unveiled on September 7. The buzz around the film has already ignited discussions on X, trending ahead of the trailer launch. The trailer, reported to be 2 minutes and 20 seconds long, has created a stir among fans.
Scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on September 28, the movie has already garnered significant attention through advance bookings. In particular, the film’s advance booking in the US has proven to be promising, having crossed the impressive $300,000 (₹2.5 crore) mark. Renowned film trade analysts shared the figures, indicating that the film pre Bookings is performing remarkably well. The US advance sales have reached $334,108 (₹2.75 crore) with 290 locations, 848 shows, and 11,639 tickets sold.
The project showcases an unprecedented grandeur, boasting the creation of 14 massive sets in and around Ramoji Film City. “Salaar,” directed by Prashanth Neel of “KGF” fame, has been shot across multiple international locations, including Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, in addition to India.
The pan-India film is set to release in five languages: Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Tamil, and Hindi. The ensemble cast features Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, Eshwari Rao, Jagapathi Babu, and Sriya Reddy. Produced by Vijay Kiragandur of Hombale Films, the powerhouse behind the successful “KGF” franchise, “Salaar” boasts the same exceptional technical team as the “KGF” series.
The journey of “Salaar” began with a captivating teaser release in July, which achieved a remarkable milestone of 100 million views.
