After the tremendous global success of “RRR,” mega powerstar Ram Charan has chosen to adopt a more calculated pace. Nonetheless, he’s been swift in making critical decisions, particularly when it comes to a recent film offer. According to reports, he’s declined the proposition of working simultaneously on the Telugu version, a sequel of his previous hit film.
Presently in the final stages of wrapping up Shankar’s “Game Changer,” Charan is slated to commence shooting for Buchi Babu’s rugged and authentic film, featuring AR Rahman’s musical compositions. In the interim, he has turned down scripts from prominent directors such as Lokesh Kanagaraj and Kannada filmmaker Narthan.
The most recent development involves the director of Charan’s film “Dhruva,” Mohan Raja, who is now considering crafting a sequel, recently unveiling the Tamil project titled ‘Thani Oruvan 2.’ As the original Tamil version starred his brother Jayam Ravi, Mohan Raja suggested the innovative approach of concurrently shooting the Telugu version with Charan. Notably, the Telugu remake of “Thani Oruvan,” known as “Dhruva,” was previously directed by Surender Reddy.
After meticulous consideration of the various options and propositions, Charan has reportedly declined the opportunity to feature in the Telugu rendition of the film and to engage in parallel filming with the Tamil version. This decision has led to speculation about whether the accomplished actor would entertain doing the sequel in the first place or not.
Overall, while Ram Charan has chosen to ease his pace after the triumph of “RRR,” it looks like the actor wants only larger than life films now.
