Salaar is one of the much-anticipated films at the box office both in India and overseas. Ahead of the film’s release, there’s a lot of curiosity around it. Meanwhile, the film’s distributor followed a unique promotional strategy with the film’s advance bookings in the USA and has reportedly accumulated $500k in sales.
The trade reports estimate that the film could earn a revenue of 3 to 4 million dollars easily. Prabhas and Prashanth Neel joined hands for the first time and both are crowd pullers. Many anticipate that Salaar could become Prabhas’ biggest hit since “Baahubali 2,” with Prashanth Neel’s reputable brand name adding to the movie’s allure.
Prabhas’s recent track record in the US, however, reveals another story as his last three films failed to breach the $4 million mark in lifetime collections.
Shruti Haasan plays the female lead in the film. Hombale Films are bankrolling the project.
