The sensational drug angle in Bollywood hero Sushant Singh Rajput’s untimely demise took a huge turn on Wednesday with the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) serving notices to Deepika Padukone, Rakul Preet Singh, Sara Ali Khan and Shraddha Kapoor.
The NCB has asked all the four heroines to appear before them for questioning. However this is getting mixed reaction from the industry, media and political sources. But a former heroine has questioned why the NCB did not summon Kangana Ranaut who was also allegedly involved in drugs.
She is Nagma who is currently a Congress leader and taking to her Twitter, she wrote, “Why has the NCB not summoned Kangana Ranaut who has admitted to have taken drugs. If they could summon other actresses on basis of what’s app chat??”
Criticising NCB, Nagma further added, “Hypocrite and is this the duty of NCB to leak out information to Press and malign the image of only female top actresses 56 inch.”
This is a valid point by Nagma in fact as the Maharashtra Home Minister had reportedly said in the Assembly that there are allegations against Kangana and need a probe against it. But the Maha government did not take any action so far neither the NCB took cognisance of the minister’s remarks.
