Rules Ranjann Trailer: Fun Packaging!

Published by

AM Rathnam’s son and director Jyothi Krishna (Rathinam Krishna)’s next directorial is Rules Ranjann starring Kiran Abbavaram and Neha Sshetty. The trailer starts with an interesting scene of a father (Goparajau Ramana) offering alcohol to his son Mano Ranjan (Kiran Abbavaram). The scene shifts to a room where Mano Ranjan tells Vennela Kishore that he has some rules and conditions. This sets the beginning for the film’s trailer.

The plot is about an ordinary village guy who goes to Mumbai and settles as a software engineer. His life goes upside down when he meets a modern girl Sana (Neha Sshetty) who makes him used to the urban lifestyle and pubs. Mano Ranjan’s friends – Hyper Aadi, Viva Harsha and Nellore Sudarshan are married and settled in the village. There are some fun moments shown in the trailer involving friends and Vennela Kishore. There is a brief triangular love track too. How does Ranjann and Sana unite despite their different backgrounds and the odds they face in this journey forms the story.

Overall, the Rules Ranjann trailer sticks to usual commercial and formulaic format laced with some fun moments. Director banks on the proven youthful formula and adds comedy, romance. The film indicates a commercial package. The background music is just adequate and visuals are alright. Kiran Abbavaram, who is going through a string of failures, needs a solid film to make a comeback. Neha Sshetty just scored a success with Bedurulanka. It needs to be seen how the film is received at the Box Office. The makers are releasing the film on 28th September clashing with Ram Pothineni and Boyapati Sreenu’s Skanda.
