With a couple of journalists from the Tamil media taking to social media to say that they had paid around ₹25,000 for each ticket to the recent AR Rahman concert and hadn’t got the hospitality they were supposed to get, it turned out to be a commotion on the platforms.
Many people joined the chorus to troll AR Rahman and stated that always his concerts are problematic for people who buy tickets with high prices as they don’t get treated especially after going into the auditorium.
Naturally, if a debate starts in one particular style it will end up in another style as people trolled the legendary composer for poor sound quality at the Chennai concert and much more.
However, Rahman’s daughter Khatija has vehemently condemned the way her father is getting brutally trolled. Sharing an image that spoke about Rahman’s generosity and how he has organised lots of charity shows whenever the state (or nation) is in crisis, she asked her detractors, “Think before you speak”. Going by the revelation, it looks like Khatija got hurt that her father is getting trolled as if he’s a scammer.
However, netizens are not tolerating even Khatija’s claims and stated that Rahman has never donated from his pocket as all these concerts have sold tickets and only that ticket money is donated. Well, the point is, those tickets got sold because AR Rahman is performing and otherwise that ticket money would have never reached the needful, isn’t it?
