The former Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu’s arrest shocked the political circles across the country. While the film industry maintains close proximity and great relations with politicians in both Telugu states, no actor or director responded to the incident so far. There were already numerous discussions on why NTR did not say a word on Chandrababu’s arrest.
Amid this, filmmaker Natti Kumar who often hits the headlines with his controversial comments and questions, once again came out criticizing the film industry biggies. Natti Kumar called it regrettable that no one from the film industry condemned Chandrababu Naidu’s arrest. Natti sarcastically asks if YS Jagan would hang them down if they supported Chandrababu Naidu.
Natti Kumar spoke with media saying it is distressing that not a single actor including NTR reacted to Chandrababu being arrested. He stressed that Chandrababu helped the industry a lot and we all have to stand by him out of respect. He questioned why the Nandamuri fans in the film chamber were not responding. ‘Pawan Kalyan stepped forward like an elder son and stood by Naidu,’ said Natti Kumar.
Natti Kumar further said that stars like Chiranjeevi, Rajamouli, and Prabhas should have tweeted. In this context, he praised Pawan Kalyan for supporting Naidu and asked the ‘Industry bigwigs’ to not hide behind the masks.
‘I keep myself away from TDP, but I am close to Chandrababu Naidu’s persona. A person like Chandrababu should not be in jail. He should be in public. A majority of cases in the country are against the politicians. Chandrababu is ‘Bhola Shankarudu’, said Natti Kumar.
Natti Kumar who is denouncing the film industry for not reacting to Chandrababu’s arrest, is a great fan of YS Jagan too. It has to be seen if the seniors from the film industry would want to at least leave a tweet condemning Chandrababu’s arrest.
