Telugu film actor Navdeep, who is known for his talent, recently tweeted that he is not the person named by the police in the new drugs case involving some lesser-known Telugu film producers and actors. However, surprisingly, he has now sought legal protection and obtained anticipatory bail.
The Telangana High Court has provided Navdeep with relief in the ongoing drugs case that has been causing a stir in the Telugu film industry. The court has granted him anticipatory bail, ensuring that he cannot be arrested until the 19th of this month, as ordered by the court. Furthermore, the court has directed the police to respond to Navdeep’s bail petition.
Navdeep strongly contested the statements made by the Hyderabad police and expressed his position to the court. He stated firmly, “I am not involved in drug use, and there is no medical evidence to support such allegations. Without proper investigation, false information is being spread about me through the media. These allegations have taken a toll on my mental well-being and could harm my career. I firmly believe that there is no need for a custodial investigation in this case, and I unequivocally deny ever using drugs.”
