Other day the teaser of Anand Devarakonda’s new film “Gam Gam Ganesha” was released. As the young hero is running high with the super success of “Baby” movie, surely there will be huge attention on his crime comedy too, but then, for the film to work out, there is something else that’s needed.
Apparently in the case of “Baby”, people got to know about the bold content of the movie only after the film was released in theatres. The content of Baby is such a mega-hit with the masses that they might want to see Anand Devarakonda do something bigger and terrific. But in Gam Gam Ganesha’s case, without any impact of songs, they have come up with the teaser, which sounds like a routine crime comedy that is made umpteen times already.
Moreover the script, Anand should have chosen a role that is more challenging for him to perform. After ‘Baby’ the audience would love to see him doing more intense and performance-centric characters, especially after watching that foot-bridge scene in the movie. At one point, it looked like the young hero was playing safe with Gam Gam Ganesh, and we have to see how it works at the box office.
