Naga Chaitanya’s next film, which is tentatively referred to as ‘NC23’, managed to garner huge attention even before its formal launch because of various reasons. Firstly, the project is backed by a renowned production house, Geetha Arts. Chandoo Mondeti, who scored massive success with Karthikeya-2, is helming this project. The intriguing premise based on real incidents in a fisherman’s life has further generated curiosity among moviegoers.
Now, the buzz is set to get bigger with the addition of talented actress Sai Pallavi to its cast. Following their unique promotional strategy, the makers unveiled a brief video snippet which has the core team taking part in a brainstorming session during its workshop. We can see Naga Chaitanya, Chandoo Mondeti, Allu Arvind and Bunny Vas involved in deep discussions in this session.
What draws the attention of everyone is the presence of a lady in this workshop. Though her face is not clearly revealed, one could easily recognise that she is Sai Pallavi. So, it is now officially confirmed that the Fidaa actress is on board for this much-anticipated film. This is the second time after ‘Love Story’ that Sai Pallavi is going to romance Naga Chaitanya in her career.
As NC23 is a realistic drama, Sai Pallavi’s casting seems to be a perfect decision. Her inclusion is bound to amplify the expectations to the next level because of the craze she carries among audiences.
Earlier, there were reports that Keerthi Suresh was approached for this role. However, she backed out due to her busy itinerary. Hence, Sai Pallavi was brought on board after she liked the script and her character.
