Sampoornesh Babu is set to star in the upcoming Telugu film titled ‘Martin Luther King,’ which is an official remake of the 2021 Tamil blockbuster movie, “Mandela,” starring Yogi Babu. Venkatesh Maha, the director of “C/O Kancharapalem,” is serving as the creative producer for the film. Mandela is a super successful film that brought immense fame to Yogi Baby. Now, since Sampoornesh is doing the film, he may also draw an equal reception.
In addition to Sampoornesh Babu, the cast includes Naresh in a crucial role. The movie, directed by debutante Puja Aparna Kolluru, is a political satire that offers a blend of entertainment and social commentary.
The original film, “Mandela,” was directed by Madonne Ashwin, who recently directed Sivakarthikeyan’s “Maaveeran” (also known as “Mahaveerudu”).
The film is produced by Dil Raju under his banner Sri Venkateswara Creations and is a collaborative effort between YNOT Studios, Reliance Entertainment, and Venkatesh Maha’s Mahayana Motion Pictures. The film is scheduled for a grand release on the 27th of October, 2023.
