The pre-release event of Srikanth Addala’s latest film Peddha Kapu-1 with debutant Virat Karrna was held in the presence of the team and a few special guests. A huge crowd attended the function.
Anasuya Bharadwaj revealed her character name as Akkanna and she thanked director Srikanth Addala for giving her such a powerful role in the movie. “You’ll see a new Srikanth Addala as a director and as an actor. Virat Karrna is the star in the making.”
Chota K Naidu appreciated director Srikanth Addala and the team. “Everything about Srikanth Addala is exceptional. His dialogues and acting are too good. In my entire film career, the most surprising film is Peddha Kapu-1. This story happens in the 80’s. Ravinder Reddy believed in the story and spent a high budget.”
Producer Miryala Ravinder Reddy stated that no actor would get such a script or a director for their debut movie and Virat is lucky.
Srikanth Addala said that he never treated Virat as a newcomer. “Many including my close friends suggested me not to take the risk of making movie with a newcomer. This story will reach many people, only it it is made with a newcomer. This movie is the signature of a common man. There is a Part 2 and this movie is the life of Peddha Kapu.”
Hero Virat Karrna thanked his director for believing that he could pull of the character of a common man. “First movie is very special for any actor. I have many memories with this movie.”
The movie Peddha Kapu-1 is gracing the cinemas on the 29th of this month.
