For the role, he has put on staggering 12 kgs of weight showcasing his dedication to executing intense action sequences. The actor underwent rigorous training to attain the impressive physique required for his role in Skanda. Before this, Ram was at 72 kilograms weight and he went to 84 kilograms of weight.
Reflecting on his transformation, Ram Pothineni remarked, “It was quite a challenge for me since I was quite lean when we commenced filming. I devoted extensive hours to training and significantly increased my calorie intake. My primary focus was on heavy lifting, as my character demanded a remarkably powerful and well-defined ripped physique. Consequently, I gained 12 kilograms to prepare for my role, going from 72 kilograms to 84 kilograms.”
The musical score for “Skanda” has been masterfully composed by Thaman S, and the film also features Sreeleela, Saiee Manjrekar, and Prince Cecil in pivotal roles. The storyline of “Skanda” revolves around a college student who finds himself entangled in conflicts with influential figures as he seeks vengeance for his family’s loss.
