Naseeruddin Shah is currently facing criticism from the South cinema lovers for his comments on “RRR” and Pushpa” which are in a poor taste. In a recent interview, Shah revealed that he tried watching both the films but could not complete them. These comments triggered a lot of fans online.
Naseeruddin Shah expressed his admiration for Mani Ratnam’s “Ponniyin Selvan.” The veteran actor revealed that Mani Ratnam will not have any agenda in his films, while catering to the audiences. However, in the same context, he questioned the significance of films like “RRR” and “Pushpa.”
Additionally, Naseeruddin Shah expressed his concerns about the success of films like “The Kashmir Files,” “The Kerala Story,” and “Gadar 2.” These films have garnered significant attention and box office success.
On the flip side, earlier in February, Naseeruddin Shah had praised the innovation and authenticity of movies from the Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Telugu film industries. He stated that while these films might lack refinement in style, their execution is consistently excellent.
