Nithya Menen’s OTT debut, “Kumari Srimathi,” is currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video. The web series already garnered a special interest among the audience. Now, the actress will be coming up with her second web series. Titled “Masterpeace,” the series will be a satirical family drama, which will soon be streamed on Disney+ Hotstar. The makers launched the trailer recently.
The trailer initially introduces Nithya and Sharafudheen in a charming romantic setting. However, it quickly becomes evident that their marriage is on shaky ground, potentially due to the interference of their conservative parents. This interference creates a chain of arguments and miscommunications, adding to the comedic chaos.
“Masterpeace” will start streaming on Disney+ Hotstar on October 25 and will be available in multiple languages, including Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Hindi, and Bangla. Hotstar aims to attract a broader audience to the web series format in Malayalam with this Sreejith-directed project.
The series will have five episodes, each with a 30 to 35-minute runtime. Shanthi Krishna, Divya Pillai, Ashokan, Renji Panicker, and Maala Parvathi are a part of the series.
