Truth About Pooja Hegde’s Exit Is Out Now

Published by

One of the most talked about exits from a film in recent times is that of star heroine Pooja Hegde from Mahesh Babu’s Guntur Karam. She was featured in Trivikram’s previous movies like Arvinda Sametha and Ala Vaikuntapurramloo, and hence her inclusion in Mahesh’s film of the director is not a surprise. But what shocked many was that she got replaced by another heroine. And lots of rumours popped up about the incident, while Sitara Entertainment’s Naga Vamsi gave clarity about it now.

Back then when Pooja Hegde was the lead, Sreeleela was roped in as the second lead of the movie and both took part in the shooting as well. However, rumours had that Pooja was shown the exit door, while Sreeleela happened to be the second heroine at that time. Later Sreeleela got promoted as the leading lady of the movie, and Meenakshi Chaudhary was taken as the second lead. Some say that Pooja got into a tiff with Mahesh, and then with Trivikram, hence she got replaced. However, Vamsi says that Pooja’s dates are clashing with a Bollywood movie as Guntur Kaaram got moved to January 2024 from August 2023, thus altering all the shooting schedules. He stated that none of the rumours except dates clash are true in Pooja’s exit from the film.

Surprisingly, ever since Pooja exited from the film, she has lost a couple of other Telugu films as well including Pawan Kalyan’s Ustaad Bhagat Singh. While she is considered to play the lead in Nani’s new film with director Vivek Athreya as well, the natural star is finally going with his own Gang Leader fame Priyanka Arul Mohan.
