‘Agnyaathavaasi,’ released in January 2018 under the banner of Harika & Hasini Creations, is considered a low point in Pawan Kalyan’s career. The movie was released amid high expectations, but it failed miserably at the box office, leaving the fans in utter disappointment. Both the producers and distributors suffered heavy losses with the film. Suryadevara Naga Vamsi is the film’s producer who slipped into depression with the film’s failure.
Naga Vamshi shared an interesting anecdote on the same in the latest interview. He revealed that the team endured a period of anguish for two months following the failure of ‘Agnyaathavaasi.’
“Amid this disappointment and depression, Junior NTR provided much-needed encouragement to me, promising a film. Immediately, we came out of that mood and decided to make a hit that year. ‘Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava,’ given the green light, was completed swiftly. It turned out to be a blockbuster,” shared the producer.
Naga Vamshi further mentioned that, as producers in the industry, they had suffered a lot during such challenging times, though they couldn’t openly discuss it.
Naga Vamsi is currently busy promoting the film ‘Mad,’ produced by his sister, Harika. NTR’s brother-in-law Narne Nithin, Sangeet Shobhan, and Ram Nithin played the lead roles in the film. Kalyan Shankar is the director.
