The Incident That Pushed Sreeleela To Study MBBS

Published by

One of the busiest actresses in the tinsel town right now, and the first among the new generation to become a starlet of the top range among the Telugu girls we have is none other than Sreeleela. This busy bee is also known for taking regular breaks from work to pursue her MBBS degree as she chose to become a Doctor as well as an actor. So what actually made Sreeleela pursue medicine?

In her own words, the actress stated that the fact that her mother and brother are doctors hasn’t made her choose the profession, but there is another back story behind it. “One day when I went to my ammamma’s place, where the hospital facility is quite far, she has fallen sick. At that time, until the doctor arrived, I had not done anything to save her, and in that moment I felt useless. Though I’d taken the Medicine entrance exam by then already, that incident inspired me to pursue the course with passion and dedication”, says Sreeleela.

She added that while shooting for films, she will prepare with the theory of MBBS in between the breaks. And during shoot breaks, she will be going to the hospital and practising the course and also attending a hospital too. Isn’t that a problem for her to treat patients for 20 long hours provided with the fact that people might recognise her in the hospital and cause chaos? “I will wear a mask na”, Sreeleela replies, quirkily.

Sreeleela’s next film is Bhagwant Kesari whic is up for a release this Oct 19th, while she has a release each month from now on, including Aadikeshava, Extra and Guntur Karam.
