Award-winning Deepavali Locks Diwali Weekend

The theatrical audience have been highly receptive of content driven films and this has fueled veteran Telugu producer ‘Sravanthi’ Ravikishore to do an intense drama titled Kida. The film was originally shot in Tamil and it is being released in Telugu as Deepavali.

The latest announcement from the makers of Deepavali confirms that the film will release in theaters on the 11th of November, coinciding with Diwali weekend.

‘Sravanthi’ Ravikishore had sent the film already for international film events and it received appreciation there. Now, he is giving it a big theatrical release this Diwali weekend. It will release in Tamil and Telugu on the mentioned date.

Officially selected for Indian Panorama, Indian Film Festival Of Melbourne and the Jagran Film Festival, this film has been receiving recognition and acclaim for all sectors of audience across the world in the last six months. The film has received praise from the audience and critics at National and International film festivals, receiving standing ovation at the International Film Festival of India, Goa and the 20th Chennai International Film Festival where it won Best Film and Best Actor awards.

The film is based on a grandfather and his grandson and it essntially a rural drama. A goat will be seen in an important character in the film. It is directed by RA Venkat and has Poo Ramu and Kali Venkat in the lead roles.

Sravanthi Ravikishore is regarded as one of the tasteful producers in Telugu cinema and he seems confident about Deepavali which is up for release on the 11th of November.

Earier, Dil Raju, a veteran producer made Balagam and now Sravanthi Ravikishore is coming up with award-winning Deepavali.
