On the propitious occasion of Ayudha Pooja and Vijayadasami, the makers of Megastar Chiranjeevi’s new film came up with an update. The new poster of Chiranjeevi and Vassista combination movie has a powerful weapon and that is all.
While it was being called the Mega157 earlier, with Bimbisara fame Vassishta directing the movie is now renamed as #Mega156. The reason behind this change seems to be the cancellation of Chiranjeevi and Kalyan Krishna movie that was is discussion for a long time and it was supposed to be Megastar’s 156th movie.
It looks like Kalyan Krishna has to wait for longer time as Vassistha’s movie with Chiru will be the first one after Bholaa Shankar. The movie Kalyan Krishna proposed to Chiru was heard to be the official remake of Malayalam blockbuster ‘Bro Daddy’.
The rumors say that Chiru wanted to stay away from remake and comedies for a while after his Bholaa Shankar turned out as an embarassment. And now his whole focus seems to be only on this fantacy film.
The music will be helmed by MM Keeravani, while Chota K Naidu cranks the camera. Sai Madhav Burra provides dialogues for the movie to be edited by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao and Santhosh Kamireddy. The movie is being planned for Sanjranti 2025 release.
