Arjun Reddy was so big sensation six years back. The way it was made had a huge influence on other filmmakers and many tried to mimic Arjun Reddy in terms of raw and bold elements. Arjun Reddy director Sandeep Reddy Vanga is bringing his ‘Animal’ nearly six years after his first film.
Ranbir Kapoor as Animal is coming with many expectations and the movie is actually raising curiosity each day. The teaser to the songs, each update is turning out as a topic of discussion, but no one could get a clue of what Animal actually is.
Amid this, here is a new report that says ‘Animal’ is going to have a run time of 3 hours and 18 minutes, a lengthy run time no other film in recent times had. Though it is not official yet, it could not be ruled out as a rumor. There is a discussion on social media that Animal needs two intervals like a few films in the past. Aamir Khan’s Lagaan, Salman Khan Hum Aapke Hain Kaun had two intervals for the lengthy runtime.
Animal’s case might be different considering the most recent films with almost 3 hours run and the audience is used to it now. Also with that run time and two intervals, the traditional four shows a day will not be practically possible.
All that Animal needs is a gripping narrative that can make the audience sit for almost 200 minutes. With Sandeep Reddy as director, Animal is heard to be a movie of many shades. Animal is said to be a wild drama blended with romance and violence making a great impact. The insider reports say that Animal will be slow but thoroughly gripping. A few opine that Animal is going to be a unique violent drama and will be starting a new trend.
Well, for now, there are high hopes for Sandeep Reddy and Ranbir Kapoor. It has to be seen if the director will be able to repeat the ‘Arjun Reddy’ feat where things were different or if he makes it much bigger than that.
