Actor Vishwak Sen’s recent post on social media has become so controversial that it raised many doubts about who is mounting pressure on Gangs Of Godavari and the hero of it. In his post, Vishwak Sen pledged to stay away from promotions if the movie release date is changed from December 8th and also used expletives to vent his frustration.
In a recent interaction with the media, the producer of Gangs Of Godavari Naga Vamsi spoke about it. Though he suggested all to ask Vishwak Sen about why he has to come up with the post, the producer somehow hinted that there is no clarity on a release date yet.
Producer Naga Vamsi says they earlier thought that only Varun tej’s Operation Valentine was coming for December 8th along with Gangs of Godavari, but Nani’s Hi Nanna and Nithiin’s Extra Ordinary Man also joined to race to avoid clashing with Salaar. Vamsi opined that Vishwak might have thought that I would opt for a postponement due to competition but also said that they had not finished the movie yet. He revealed that there is still a song and some shooting left for Gangs Of Godavari to finish.
Naga Vamsi also says that they have not watched the movie and if they are confident about the content, Gangs of Godavari will be hitting the screens as planned. Vamsi emphasizes the fact that heroes won’t like their movies to be postponed multiple times and it is not desperation.
Clarifying from his end, Naga Vamsi underlines that when the movie has good content postponements won’t impact anything. However, there is a talk that Gangs Of Godavari will be moved to release on December 29th.
