Ram Pothineni is one of the most talented actors in the movie industry. Having made his debut with the romantic drama Devadas, Ram emerged as one of the bankable stars today in the industry. From being the lover boy to the mass hero, Ram put enormous efforts into his craft, earning him a huge fan base today. His last release was Skanda and despite the film’s result not meeting the expectations, Ram made no mistake in bringing his best to the project.
Yesterday, we shared a picture on our Twitter handle, revealing that director Boyapati Srinu turned a body double for Ram, for an action sequence in their film Skanda. The picture went viral and even garnered the attention of Ram Pothineni who shared an interesting ‘behind the scenes’ story with all, which is proof of how he breathes life into every character he plays on the screen.
Ram quoted our tweet and mentioned the reason why Boyapati had to step in as the body double.
“22.04.23 I still remember.. it was one of the hottest days during the peak of summer.. this was my feet after filming this episode on the 3rd day of the 25days.. couldn’t walk properly.. went away for a bit after it started to bleed.. so My Director wanted to get the shot right n did this one shot himself,” wrote Ram Pothineni.
Looking at the actor’s feet, it shows how much he is dedicated to the craft and how much he wanted to give the best shot to his director. This is not the first time that Ram mesmerized all of us with his commitment levels. For all his movies, Ram ensures to present himself different. Depending on the role he plays on the screen, his approach also gets changed.
Be it iSmart Shankar, or Skanda, Ram’s transformation is definitely an inspiration for all the budding actors. Not just that, Ram also showcased his generosity in accepting the opinions of public. Unlike many actors, Ram genuinely accepted that he respects the opinions of audiences for the work he displayed.
“Liking or Disliking the content is totally the audience choice.. I have & will continue to Respect Your Opinions ❤️.. after all.. all this is only For You.. But I’d like to thank My Director for doing this specific shot for me,” wrote Ram Pothineni, which came straight from his heart.
It is a fact that Skanda opened to mixed responses and not everyone gave a thumbs-up for the movie. But, Ram graciously admitted that he will continue to respect the opinions of audiences. At the same time, he did not play any blame game for the film’s result and whole-heartedly thanked director Boyapati Srinu.
In the glamour world, it is important to stay grounded when climbing up the success ladder. Ram is the perfect example for the same and actors like him will attain to more heights in their career.
