‘Ram & Trivikram Will Collaborate For Right Script’

Veteran producer ‘Sravanthi’ Ravikishore is known for introducing great talent to Tollywood. In fact, he is the one who produced the first directorial of Trivikram Srinivas – Nuvve Nuvve. Now, he is coming up with ‘Deepavali’ which is a rooted rural drama.

Incidentally, the director of Deepavali, RA Venkat used to work as an office boy while he first came to Chennai with filmmaking dream. He is now turning film director with Deepavali.

When asked about the same, ‘Sravanthi’ Ravikishore says “I trusted in the story and my director. He gave his everything for the film and I am very happy with the final product”.

The ace producer added “Dil Raju saw the film, and so did Telugu media. I screened the film for over 200 media friends in Chennai and they gave a standing ovation. A similar ovation was seen in Goa Film Festival as well.”

The senior producer was asked about the film with his nephew Ram Pothineni and Trivikram which has been in discussion for a while and he replied “I am trying to materialize a film with Ram and related script work is going on now. I have turned down more scripts than the films I actually made.”

“I am trying to materialize a film with Ram and Trivikram. But Trivikram has many commitments already. He should find a script that he believes will perfectly suit Ram and when that happens, we will definitely make a film together.”

As for Deepavali, the film is rural drama with Poo Ramu and Kaali Venkat in the lead roles. It is up for release this Diwali season. It is scheduled for the theatrical debut on the 11th of November.
