There’s no doubt that Nani gives equal importance to music in every movie of him. Most of his recent movies were musical hits before they graced the cinemas.
Likewise, his latest flick Hi Nanna is turning out to be a musical hit, although the makers so far released three songs from the album. Interestingly, all the songs are from the first half of the movie. Hesham Abdul Wahab scored the music for the movie.
The first song Samayama is an anthem to sing for your be‘loved’ ones. This electrifying melody has a touch of contemporary music infused to it. The lyrics by Anantha Sriram express the excitement and serenity of the protagonist who is deeply in love with his girl. The vocals by Anurag Kulkarni and Sithara Krishnakumar are entrancing. Nani and Mrunal Thakur looked lively in the song.
The second number Gaaju Bomma is all about the lovely bonding of father-daughter. It was an emotional ride to see the beautiful attachment of Nani and Kiara Khanna in the song. Anantha Sriram explained all the emotions heart-touchingly. The music director Hesham also crooned the number enchantingly. The best choice of instruments made it a chartbuster.
The third song Ammadi is a feel-good song that is full of blissful vibes. It’s a perfect melody for lovebirds. The adorably cute love story of the lead pair- Nani and Mrunal Thakur has stolen millions of hearts. The chemistry of the two was well presented on screen in the song penned by Krishnakanth. Kaala Bhairava and Shakthisree Gopalan’s vocals worked well for the song.
Overall, the album of Hi Nanna is a blissful and soulful one. Let’s wait and see how the rest of the songs from the movie will be.
