The focus of Megastar fans is currently fixed on ‘Vishwambhara,’ a project under the production banner of UV Creations, helmed by ‘Bimbisara’ director Vashishtha. The film recently witnessed its grand opening ceremony, and the movie has an estimated budget of approximately Rs. 200 crores.
Sources indicate that the regular shooting for ‘Vishwambhara’ will commence in December. Since the project’s inception, there has been a persistent campaign touting the movie’s stylistic resemblance to the classic ‘Jagadeka Veerudu Atiloka Sundari.’
Director Vashishtha shed light on the genre of ‘Vishwambhara’ during recent interactions with the media, providing insights into the film’s development as it inches closer to the commencement of regular shooting.
During these discussions, Vashishtha emphasized the pivotal role of visual effects in ‘Vishwambhara,’ revealing that 70 percent of the film will be intricately linked to these effects.
“I am eagerly waiting for the shooting of this movie to start. I was studying in school when the movie ‘Jagadeka Veerudu Atiloka Sundari’ was released. I was very surprised to see that movie. It has been three decades since the Megastar acted in such a pure fantasy movie. Even ‘Anji’ is not a full-fledged fantasy movie. Seventy percent of ‘Vishwambhara’ will have visual effects. In this movie, we will create a new world by adding spirituality to elements like panchabhutas and trishul shakti, which are the most important in creation,” Vashishtha remarked.
Chiranjeevi’s ‘Anji’ has a lot of visual effects, but the film did not do well at the box office. So, the question arises if ‘Vishwambhara’ manages to impress the audiences despite having heavy VFX effects.
