A new thriller Mangalavaaram was released yesterday and it is being appreciated mainly for two things. One is the twists towards the climax that was exciting and the other one is the excellent background music.
Mangalavaaram lost the pace many a time in the first half and also in the latter half. But it is Ajaneesh Loknath’s stunning BGM that keeps us connected to the dull scenes as well. The man gave the arresting score in the background for Mangalavaaram which kept the intrigue and suspense elements highlighted.
Two other recent blockbusters Kantara and Virupaksha also had Ajaneesh Loknath as music director and needless to say how crucial his work was for those movies. Not just that, Ajaneesh worked for many Kannada movies and a good number of them are thrillers.
Now that his work is being elevated for each movie, many filmmakers who are working on thriller concepts are heard to be asking for Ajaneesh’s availability. Well, it has to be seen if the top-tier filmmakers with star hero movies will approach this talent anytime soon.
