Yash Raj Films (YRF) is gearing up for another web show titled ‘Akka.’ This prestigious series is described as a massively mounted period revenge thriller featuring the talented duo Keerthy Suresh and Radhika Apte. Although plot details are currently undisclosed, it is known that the actresses will be pitted against each other in the series.
‘Akka’ is written and directed by Dharmaraj Shetty in his directorial debut. The team cleverly roped in the two-star heroines for the project. Keerthy is open to doing projects in Bollywood and on OTT. She is happy to venture into this space with the prestigious production house, YRF.
“Akka” is a period thriller which went on to the floors this week. The team spent almost six months for the pre-production before hitting the floors.
In addition to this, YRF Entertainment is working on more OTT projects. ‘Mandala Murders’ is described as an edge-of-the-seat, multi-season crime thriller series. Another project is a made-for-OTT movie titled ‘Vijay 69,’ starring veteran Indian actor Anupam Kher.
