Even though some heroines got super stardom like craze with just a film, it is not tough to retain it unless they serve super hits in a row. After debuting with a below-average movie like PelliSandaD, Kannada raised Telugu girl Sreeleela made inroads into Tollywood big time, by bagging almost a dozen films in a row Here’s how things are for the now.
The flop show of “Skandha” added a dent to Sreeleela’s image though many complained that director Boyapati Sreenu hadn’t used her potential to the fullest. While Balayya’s Bhagwant Kesari is a respite, with the young heroine proving her acting mettle big time, all eyes shifted to Aadikeshava then. This film is a complete disaster for its content, though it has Sreeleela in all the frames except the action sequences. But then, her glam and charm factor is not working out.
Inside theatres, while Sreeleela’s presence is being enjoyed by the masses and her glamorous song-treat makes men whistle, surely it is not pulling huge audiences for the film. Even on Saturday, her factor didn’t help the film get huge bookings. Probably the actress should now pick her films carefully as that craze will wane down if she fails to keep a tab. She will be next seen in Nithin’s Extra which is getting released on December 8th.
