Actor Ram Charan, amidst the ongoing shoot for Shankar’s ‘Game Changer’ in Mysuru, made a swift return to Hyderabad to fulfill his civic duty by casting his vote in the Telangana elections slated for November 30. Spotted at Mysuru airport, Ram Charan boarded a private flight to Hyderabad, taking a break from the film’s shooting schedule to participate in the electoral process.
In a video released by Ram’s fan page, the actor can be seen accompanied by security as he makes his way to the flight. Despite his busy schedule, Ram Charan took a moment to pose for photos with ground personnel at the airport before departing for Hyderabad. The actor’s decision to prioritize voting aligns with the theme of his upcoming film ‘Game Changer,’ which revolves around the electoral system.
Coincidentally, the movie directed by Shankar explores social issues tied to elections. Ram Charan is expected to resume filming immediately after casting his vote. ‘Game Changer,’ featuring Kiara Advani in the lead role, is scheduled for release next year.
Ram Charan’s commitment to voting has set an example, with reports suggesting that many other Tollywood personalities, including Chiranjeevi, Pawan Kalyan, Jr NTR, Nani, and more, are anticipated to cast their votes in Hyderabad during the elections. Lakshmi Manchu has even issued a public statement, urging the people of Telangana to exercise their voting rights.
