The mixed talk did not have an impact on Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal. The film is going great guns already after the weekend too. There were a ton of discussions on social media about the 200-minute movie with aggression, rage, violence, and lengthy conversations about sex.
The internet’s focus first fell on Ranbir Kapoor’s characterization before talking about the beautiful women in the movie. The latest find is that the house of Ranbir Kapoor in Animal belongs to Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan.
All the house scenes of Animal were shot at Saif Ali Khan’s ancestral home, Rs 800 crore worth the Pataudi Palace. Fans spotted the expansive lawns and hallway in the film where Saif was seen walking in an old video. Also, the scene where Rannvijay Balbir poses for a family portrait was filmed at the Pataudi palace grounds.
The Palace was built in the 1930s by Saif’s grandfather, the Nawab of Pataudi, Iftikhar Ali Khan Pataudi. After the death of Mansoor Ali Khan, the property was leased to a hotel chain. Saif Ali Khan revealed in a recent interview that he did not inherit anything, but had to clear the lease to own the Pataudi Palace.
Not just Animal, but many films like Prime Video;s Tandav, Julia Roebrts’ Eat Pray Love, and even Aamir Khan’s Rang De Basanti were shot at the Pataudi Palace. The internet is joking that Saif Ali Khan is making more money by leasing the Palace than he earns through acting.
