The moment anyone hears the title ‘girlfriend’, surely they will think about a love story only. When the project “The Girlfriend” got announced, which features Rashmika Mandanna in the lead and Rahul Ravindran at the helm, many thought an intense love story is coming up. But then, the film is not just a love story.
After the super success of “Animal”, Rashmika is back in Hyderabad now and is taking part in the first schedule of the film that is being shot on the outskirts of the city. In the first ever 20-day schedule of the film, the makers are primarily focusing on the action episodes featuring the leading lady. The film has many thrills and fighting blocks that will mesmerise the audience, apart from a love story. From the last couple of months, Rashmika is said to have practised martial arts as well for the movie and will be seen in two different avatars as per the talk.
On the other hand, Rahul Ravindran will be playing a short role in the film and the makers are said to be trying to make a big hero do a small cameo in this project, which might be possibly Vijay Devarakonda. Well, more concrete updates on this project will be coming out in the days to come.
