Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s second creation after Arjun Reddy, Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal has stunned the whole of India and the mammoth ₹650+ crores gross collection so far is a testimony of that. While the film is liked by many superstars like Amitabh Bachchan and Allu Arjun, here is an interesting rumour being heard in film circles now.
In a couple of days, in fact, heroine Rashmika Mandanna is supposed to join the sets of “Pushpa 2”, the most awaited Pan-India movie, in Hyderabad. Creative director Sukumar and superstar Allu Arjun have been busy with shooting for the last month, capturing various crucial sequences like the Jaathara scene and others. Reports are doing rounds that Sukumar got mesmerised by Rashmika’s performance as Geethanjali in Animal and rewrote some of his scenes to give more potential for the actress to perform. As Pushpa 2 also deals with the post-marriage life of the protagonist, Sukumar is said to have created another well-defined role for the star heroine too.
In the days to come, it looks like star directors will be offering some stunning roles to Rashmika based on her performance in Animal. If she lives up to those expectations, surely the actress will create a league of her own, and come out of the label of a commercial glam-doll heroine.
