TANA: Srinivasa Gogineni Withdraws From Elections, Supports Dr Naren Kodali

TANA senior leader Srinivasa Gogineni who is contesting for the post of Executive Vice President in the ongoing TANA elections withdrew from the contest.

Srinivasa Gogineni further announced his full support to Dr. Naren Kodali. Srinivasa and Naren met in Michigan last weekend and discussed the future programs of TANA. Naren reportedly agreed to the points Gogineni wanted to work on and improve on and decided to join forces.

For the sake of integrity in TANA, they both agreed upon the need for complete dominance of someone in the current situation. Above that Naren personally provided around 250,000 dollars for a few important prigrams and guaranteed to raise another 500,000 dollars. Naren requested TANA members to support him and Gogineni also assured them he would work for Naren’s success.

Srinivasa Gogineni’s ‘Team Gogineni’ campaigned well during the previous elections, but the board canceled the election and launched a ‘selection’ process to fill the posts. The issue went to court and later they were ordered to conduct the elections.

Srinivasa Gogineni objected to the selection process of giving the ‘Executive Vice President’ post to Naren and opined that the ‘selection’ instead of ‘election’ will lead to unwanted issues in the future.
