Heroine Says She Is ‘Tired Of Looking For Roles’

Beautiful and talented Meera Chopra made her entry in Telugu with Pawan Kalyan’s Bangaram. She later appeared in many prominent films like Vaana, Section 375, and many more. Her latest film Safed is coming soon and when asked about her feelings about getting versatile roles, Meera Chopra laughs off but says she is tired of this struggle for good roles.

In a latest brief chat with Instant Bollywood, Meera Chopra said, ‘I am tired of looking for roles. I am tired of the struggle. I wanted to get over it. Please I need work, Please call me, Give me good roles. I really think I am a really good actress. When Section 375 was out, people wrote many articles that Meera Chopra had arrived. But I have not arrived, and I don’t know where I was gone then. I really want to arrive!’

The fame and appreciation of a few films are not translating into better and more roles for Meera Chopra. Many actresses who have struggled to bag a role with substance are doing better in Bollywood, like Shreya Dhanwanthary, Taapsee, and Wamiqa Gabbi.

It has to be seen if Meera Chopra’s Safed brings her the much-needed and deserved opportunities in meaty roles. Safed is an unimaginable love story between a Transgender and a Widow coming on December 29th.
