In recent times, if there is any big film that travelled through a lot of obstacles, rumours and huge changes in terms of cast and crew, it is none other than Superstar Mahesh Babu’s Guntur Kaaram which is being directed by director giant Trivikram. As the song launches from this film got postponed many times, it has always come out that Mahesh is not happy with Thaman’s work.
Though producer Naga Vamsi has the other day rubbished rumours that Mahesh didn’t like the new mass song composed by Thaman, it is coming out that there was a stage in the making of this film where they thought of taking songs from other composers as well. There is this composer from Malayalam known for his mellifluous songs and scored two back-to-back hits in Telugu, who got a chance to compose two songs for Guntur Kaaram. After he gave some samples, the team felt that that samples lack mass pulse, so they decided to call off the idea.
Later, another music composer who has delivered an outstanding background score for a recent pan-India blockbuster is taken aboard to compose a couple of songs, but Mahesh is said to have rejected them too. With no option left, finally, Thaman is entrusted with the job of composing all the songs again. Looks like, regarding music, the team of #GunturKaaram is really struggling to get the right tunes, and the negative response on recent songs is a reason to worry in that direction.
Anyway, if the film clicks at the box office on January 12th, all these worries about music will fade off.
