Prashanth Varma’s latest film, “Hanuman,” draws inspiration from the legendary Indian story of Hanuman. Teja Sajja, known for his role in “Zombie Reddy,” takes on the lead role in this superhero-themed film. The film tells the story of a young guy who gets superpowers with the blessings of Lord Hanuman. The film is creating a buzz in film circles as it is clashing with biggies at the box office.
Scheduled as a Sankranti release, “Hanuman” is set to hit screens on January 12, offering audiences a unique cinematic experience with Hollywood-level visuals showcased in the teaser and trailers. Meanwhile, the million-dollar question is about which big star will support the film.
The director recently clarified that he met Prabhas and requested his support during the film’s promotions, with an intention to have him for the pre-release event. An official announcement regarding Prabhas’s participation is anticipated from the film unit soon. Prabhas is yet to take a call on the same.
If Prabhas graces the event, it will give the unit a much-needed push. Prabhas played Lord Sriram (Adipurush) recently and if he supports a film surrounded by Lord Hanuman’s aura, it will be a positive sign. Prabhas’ participation in promotions can also help the film perform well in Telugu and North India.
“Hanuman” recently completed the censor process and received a U/A certificate. The film is set to release worldwide on January 12, clashing with Mahesh Babu’s Guntur Kaaram.
