The teaser of Victory Venkatesh’s landmark 75th movie Saindhav didn’t reveal the actual story. However, the core element of the movie is revealed through the trailer which was dropped just a while ago.
The trailer begins with Venkatesh’s daughter dancing in joy and imitating him with cool music in the background. He is a superhero figure to her, as he makes sure she is happy every moment. But that happiness vanishes when the girl falls sick with a rare disease Spinal Muscular Atrophy which is a life-threatening one and needs immediate medical support. Venky has no option left but to go his old path. He stumbles upon all the enemies and shows them what Saindhav is capable of.
It’s intense and at the same time is emotional. Director Sailesh Kolanu must be appreciated for blending these two aspects accurately. Santosh Narayanan’s music amps up the narrative in the right places and keeps us on the edge of our seats. S.Manikandan’ cinematography is stylish in terms of the colours and framing, while the editing of Garry BH is also fantastic. The production values of Niharika Entertainment are solid.
Venkatesh is exceptional in the role and exhibits a variety to differentiate as a responsible father and a merciless man who cares nobody when he is in action. Baby Sara leaves an impact, whereas Shraddha Srinath has a mature role. It’s a treat to see a stellar cast such as Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Arya.
Needless to say, the trailer has taken the expectations to another level. We need to wait for another 9 days to witness this emotional action saga in cinemas.
