‘Melody Brahma’ Manisharma needs no introduction to the audience. He created a name for himself and revolutionized the Telugu cinema music and background scores. Renowned for delivering memorable audio albums to stars like Pawan Kalyan, Mahesh Babu, and Chiranjeevi, he has been a musical maestro in the industry for decades. Of late, his demand has come down, and he even acknowledges the same.
In a recent interview, Mani Sharma expressed his regret over not receiving opportunities from current star heroes. When asked if he felt hurt, Mani Sharma candidly replied that the only reason for any potential hurt is the lack of opportunities from heroes like Mahesh and Pawan Kalyan.
Mani Sharma emphasized that these star heroes can provide opportunities to a diverse range of music composers. In his view, giving chances to multiple composers would bring variety to the audience, allowing each artist to contribute their unique style.
Mani Sharma conveyed that he did not mean to monopolize opportunities for himself but believed that a more inclusive approach would benefit the industry. He envisioned a scenario where different composers, including Devi Sri Prasad and Thaman, could all have their share of opportunities, ensuring a diverse musical landscape.
“If they give 2 films to Thaman and 2 films to Devi, they can give one film to me. But, I can’t go and ask them the same,” quipped Mani Sharma.
