Music Director Thaman is naturally known for his captivating music and breathtaking background scores. Having debuted as a solo music composer with the film Kick, he came a long way by crossing a milestone of films in less time. Apart from his music, his social media presence, along with his public speeches, are widely admired. Surprisingly, he went silent at the pre-release event of Guntur Kaaram.
Thaman has been most criticized and trolled in the last year, especially after his name was confirmed for scoring music for the prestigious project. Considering Thaman’s previous track record with Trivikram, it is natural to expect the duo to join hands again. But Mahesh’s fans resisted the choice and openly suggested the team opt for a change. But, the team stuck to their decision and kept on supporting Thaman.
During the film’s promotions, out of the three audio singles that came out, only one caught the attention and became a chartbuster. The romantic single and the dance number Kurchini Madatha Petti resulted in more criticism of Thaman.
Everyone thought Thaman would react to this criticism in his style at the pre-release event, but he said, “I am going to share a tweet now, and I am not going to talk about anything today,” which surprised many.
Thaman usually shares the experience of working on every film and goes the extra mile to share the rapport he shares with every actor he works with. However, recently, he has also been trolled for these speeches. It is natural for any technician to praise the hero that they work with. But, netizens often troll Thaman, saying that he praises everyone unnecessarily.
Thaman must have remained silent at the pre-release event to avoid this remark again and to avoid attracting any kind of negativity. However, the sources close to the film unit say that Thaman put his blood and sweat into making the best background score for the film.
Guntur Kaaram will hit the screens on the 12th of this month.
