India Is No Country For Women, Says Puri

Dashing director Puri Jagannadh is continuing to express his views on different topics through his own podcast Puri Musings. The latest topic is about Rape where he discussed about the dire state of women’s safety in India today. He blames one section of media for being so biased.

Puri though lauds journalists Barkha Dutt, Tanushree Pandey and Pratibha calling them the sincere journalists. “Salute to the real journalists,” says Puri adding, “The rest of the media is busy with festivals.”

Besides rape and women’s safety in India, Puri also spoke about suicides (Sushant Singh Rajput case), nepotism, drugs and corruption. He further makes a sensational comment, “India is no country for women.”
