Oka Eesha, Oka Nivetha, Oka Meenakshi

While star heroes naturally have a fan following in Telugu cinema, certain directors also garner their own share of fans. Trivikram Srinivas is one such director known for his powerful storytelling. However, his recent film, ‘Guntur Karam,’ has received criticism from many viewers, and this dissatisfaction seems to be catching on.

Trivikram Srinivas typically incorporates well-known actors for smaller roles in his films, utilizing them effectively. However, recent observations suggest a trend where the director may not utilize second heroines to their full potential in his last three movies.

In ‘Guntur Karam,’ Meenakshi Choudhary plays the role of Raji, but critics and fans alike point out that her character was not adequately utilized, leaving her fans disappointed.

This trend is noted to have recurred in Trivikram’s previous two films as well.

In ‘Aravinda Sametha,’ Esha Rebbani portrayed the role of the heroine’s sister, yet her character lacked significant screen time or impact.

Similarly, in ‘Ala Vaikunthapuramulo,’ Nivetha Pethuraj played the second heroine, but her role was limited to a few dialogues.

While Trivikram Srinivas’s films have been celebrated for providing recognition to actresses through smaller roles, critics argue that it may not be enough for established heroines.

Had Trivikram cast a small-time actress or a budding heroine for these roles, they would have benefited, but for those like Eesha, Nivetha, and Meenakshi, these do not help except for the satisfaction that they got to work with Trivikram Srinivas and the star heroes.
