Despite strong competition at the box office for Sankranthi, the film HanuMan managed to perform well at the ticket windows. The film has opened to a good response, dominating other films like Guntur Kaaram, Na Saami Ranga and Saindhav. Now, a similar strategy comes to the rescue for ‘Ooru Peru Bhairavakona.’
Sandeep Kishan starrer was scheduled for a grand release on the 9th of February. Ravi Teja’s Eagle was also slated for a release on the same day. Team Eagle got an assurance of a solo release on the date. Hence, the producer’s council reportedly is adding pressure on team OPB to move their release. But the team is confident of scoring a hit.
Just like how team HanuMan stuck to the already announced release date, team OPB wants to repeat the same, which, in a way, proves their confidence in the content and can also attract crowds to theatres on the release day. Unlike any other factor, team OPB hopes the content will bring them big success.
VI Anand is the director of Ooru Peru Bhairavakona, and the film’s trailer already raised curiosity about the film. If OPB also becomes a hit, then, it will boost the confidence levels of a lot of small-budgeted flicks.
