In a recent meeting, Thalapathy Vijay was unanimously elected as the President of the party. With Superstar Rajinikanth also confirming the same recently at the audio launch of Lal Salaam, it is almost confirmed that Vijay will be taking up new responsibilities for the people of Tamilnadu apart from entertaining them through cinema.
