The home-grown first superhero film in Telugu, titled “HanuMan,” starring Teja Sajja and directed by Prasanth Varma, marked a significant surge in collections on Republic Day. The film registered a big number, taking the overall gross to 250 Cr worldwide. It is a phenomenal achievement by a film that was made with a less budget.
Not just in the Telugu states, but the film is also performing well in Hindi. The Hindi version of HanuMan has already garnered approximately 45 crores nett, showcasing a promising trend. Despite facing competition from Hrithik Roshan’s Fighter, HanuMan is expected to not slow down at the ticket windows.
As a mark of gratitude, team HanuMan held a gratitude event in Hyderabad on Saturday, where they thanked the audiences for making the film a big success. Produced by Niranjan Reddy under Prime Show Entertainment, “HanuMan” boasts a stellar cast, including Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Getup Sreenu, and Satya in pivotal roles.
Despite a stiff competition from other films during Sankranthi, HanuMan emerged as a winner.
