Glad To Have Two Padma Vibhushans In Our Family -Upasana

After receiving the Padma Bhushan in 2006, Chiranjeevi was honoured with the Padma Vibhushan on Thursday, recognizing his significant contributions to Indian cinema. The prestigious Padma Awards 2024 were conferred on the eve of Republic Day, and warm congratulations flooded in from Telugu celebrities, including Ram Charan and Mahesh Babu.

Chiranjeevi’s daughter-in-law, Business women, Upasana Kamineni, expressed her joy, saying, “Congrats to our inspiration, not just in cinema & philanthropy but in life – as a dad, father-in-law & granddad. Honoured & blessed to now have 2 Padma Vibhushan 🙏 awardees in the Family. My Grandfather Dr. Prathap C Reddy, the visionary founder of the Apollo Hospitals Group, and My Father-in-law Dr. Chiranjeevi Konidela.”

Sharing a heartwarming family photo, Chiranjeevi was captured with all his grandchildren from his three children– the elder Susmitha’s daughters, Srija’s daughters, and the youngest global star Ram Charan’s daughter, Klin Kaara. Notably, Klin Kaara’s face was intentionally blurred, maintaining the family’s privacy.
