In a recent interview, Shruti Haasan opened up on the choices she made at the beginning of her career. However, her comments were misinterpreted by a few Telugu media publications and it became the talk of the town now.
In a recent interview, Shruti Haasan revealed that she received advice during her career beginning, about doing commercial movies. “I was a part of a couple of blockbusters at the beginning of the career but I did not feel great about it. I will start picking good films from now,” revealed Shruti Haasan. But, her comments were misquoted by many publications. People thought that she was referring to Gabbar Singh and Race Gurram which made her a star. Many reports came in that Shruti Haasan is not giving enough value to the Telugu films like Gabbar Singh and Race Gurram. Shruti has come across these reports and did the damage control.
Taking to Twitter, Shruti Haasan posted, “Certain Telugu publications have misinterpreted a quote from a national interview I gave and are writing articles that are untrue. Just to clarify I am extremely proud of having been a part of films like race gurram and Gabbar Singh- GS with Pawan Kalyan Garu was life changing!! .being a part of Telugu and South Indian film industry is a part of my heart, truly. that interview was given in context to the Hindi films I did and the perception of north VS south in Indian films which in itself ive never liked – hope that clears things up for the everyone.”
Shruti had expressed her opinion on the context of the Hindi cinema which many failed to recognize. With this clarification, Shruti hopes that she won’t be understood again, for this issue.
