Other day, hero Allari Naresh came up with a teaser of his next film and announced that the movie is titled ‘Aa Okkati Adakku’, a title of his father, director EVV Satyanarayana’s classic blockbuster featuring Rajendra Prasad and Rambha in the leads. Now that Naresh is coming up with the same title, admirers of that film have their own reservations.
Kids taking the titles of their fathers’ films is a known thing in Tollywood, but living up to that title’s reputation and power is the crucial thing. Especially with ‘Aa Okkati Adakku’ being a comic caper of epic proportions, each character including the likes of Allu Ramalingaiah, Rao Gopala Rao, Brahmanandam and Rajendra Prasad outshining others, and crafting classiness on the silver screen, this new age film should also match to that greatness.
On the other hand, the likes of Rajendra Prasad earlier disassociated with Vamsy’s sequel of Ladies Tailor, and he might disassociate from Aa Okkati Adakku too; and that puts more burden on Naresh now to recreate the magic. However, with Naresh saying that he took up a Pan-India problem of late-marriage as the storyline, many are wondering if this over used concept would create wonders for him.
